Notes:

If we are leaders in the church but we are not living like Christ in the world then we’re not going to be able to lead the church that way.

As we’re seeking to be leaders in the church one of the most important things we can do is to be in the culture.

To see the Church raised up out of the culture you’ve got to be in the culture.

Gateway formed a sports league and they formed soccer teams. At first, John played on the team, but then realised he shouldn’t be playing with people primarily connected to Gateway. So he quit the team and joined a team with no one from Gateway. He’s also coached his son’s soccer team and seen God do amazing things.
