”I know that ministry growth happens when risks are taken. You’ve told us to “dream big” and I know that God is able, but how do you know when you’re being inspired or when you’re just dreaming? How do you determine what is an appropriate ministry risk?”
Bill Hybels:
It comes down to a person’s own walk with God. Get with some other trusted people and run it by them to get their affirmation. Be careful not to move too quickly with a vision – if it is truly from God is has staying power. Many times a good idea becomes better as it is circulated through key leadership circles.
